Will it be THE FLAG OF MOHAMMAD OVER/IN THE THIRD TEMPLE???
(THIS may be one of the most important articles I have EVER written!! It is long, but you really, really should read it in its entirety. I think you will see some very ASTONISHING things!)
THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION: What will it be?
"...in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for THE OVERSPREADING of ABOMINATIONS he shall make it desolate," Daniel 9:27.
The Assyrian Man of Sin (Isaiah 14:24-27; Micah 5:1-9, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4) who is also called the King of the North in Daniel 11:35+, the Little Horn of Daniel 7-8, the Son of Perdition, and other names will stand in the Third Temple in Jerusalem and commit an ABOMINATION that will drive the Jews out, and leave the new temple DESOLATE for the remaining 42 months of the Great Tribulation.
WHAT EXACTLY WILL THAT ABOMINATION BE?
Look very, very carefully at the phrase:
KJV - "for the OVERSPREADING of ABOMINATIONS."
Now look at a variety of Bible translations of that phrase:
ASV - "on the WING of abomination"
CEV - "the "Horrible Thing" that causes abominations shall be put there."
DRB - "and there shall be IN THE TEMPLE the abomination."
ISV - "destructive people will cause the abomination."
RV - "upon the WING of abominations..."
YLT - "by the WING of abominations..."
NOW, consider this:
THE HEBREW WORD in the place of the KJV "overspreading" is "KANAPH"
In Hebrew, KANAPH means variously, "overspreading, wing, EDGE, EXTREMITY, FRINGE, FLAP, BORDER, FLYING, SKIRT"

Is it POSSIBLE or CONCEIVABLE that a FLAG will fulfill this prophecy? Will the FLAG of MOHAMMAD, or an ISLAMIC FLAG fulfill this prophecy? "The Green Flag of the Prophet"

In 1878, Littell's Living Age magazine published an article entitled, "The Green Flag of the Prophet" in which the author revealed the story of the banner belonging to Mohammad, founder of the Muslim religion. Mohammad's banner was green. It was written that Mohammad, gazing out upon a vast prospect of fields, said: "Nature is green, and green shall be my emblem, for it is everlasting and universal."
Mohammad's flag "is of green silk, with a large crescent on the top of the staff, from which is suspended a long plume of horsehair (said to have been the tail of the Prophet’s favorite Arab steed), while the broad folds of the flag exhibit the crescent and quotations from the Koran."
Brewer's Dictionary (1894) furnishes this description:
What purports to be the actual standard of Mahomet (Mohammed) is preserved in the Eyab Mosque of Constantinople (now Istanbul). [In modern times, Mohammad's relics were moved to the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul]. It is called the Sinjaqu 'sh sharif. It is made of four layers of silk, the top-most being green, embroidered with gold. In times of peace it is guarded in the hall of the 'noble vestment' as the dress worn by the prophet is styled. In the same hall are preserved the sacred teeth, the holy beard, the sacred stirrup, the sabre and bow of Mahomet."
You can visit the Chamber of Sacred Relics in the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul today and see the golden casket containing Mohammed's Green Banner, "The Banner of the Prophet (Mahomet). Mohammed's memorabilia are kept in a shrine there. The golden casket contains the flag and other items. You can also see Mohammed's green-sheathed sword.

It is said that if this green banner of Mohammed is ever raised above the Mosque in Istanbul, it is a sign to the entire Muslim world that it is time to go to war against Christians throughout the world.
"The raising of the green standard is a call which none may disobey, without sacrificing, as the Koran calls it, all hopes of Paradise.
It is a summons to an anti-Christian crusade, a challenge of every believer in the Prophet to arms; a war-signal in fact, which, like the fiery cross of Scotland, would flash its dread command through the domain of Islam. In the interests of humanity, however, we may hope that the "commander of the faithful" will never utter the dreadful word; for then indeed would the whole soul and strength of Christendom turn against the enemy of all civilized laws, human and divine.
The Prophet himself predicted that one day when his followers should number a hundred millions-which they do now, with twenty millions more added to it-his flag should fly against the advancing power of the northern races; and the Koran, or Mohammedan Bible, says that when its silken folds are flung forth "the earth will shake, the mountains melt into dust, the seas blaze up in fire, and the children’s hair grow white with anguish." (Littell's article - 1878).
In a September 2006 article, WorldNetDaily.com reported an influential Islamic preacher in Gaza, Sheik Abu Saqer declared "the day will come when the GREEN FLAG OF MUHAMMED will be raised upon the Vatican and all around the world."
This is in DIRECT CONFLICT with the TRUE ENSIGN, the flag of God, Jesus Christ. Six times, Isaiah called Messiah an ensign (a banner or flag). God "will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and ...they shall come with speed swiftly," (5:26). Jesus Christ is the true flag of God, and when He returns, His presence will be infinitely more significant than the flag of Mohammed. The "diaspora" (dispersed Jews) began immigrating to Israel around 1948. Jesus' return will signal worldwide "aliyah," the second and final immigration! At that time, Jesus will establish His global kingdom on earth, ruling from Jerusalem, Israel. All the scriptures attest to it.
"They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ENSIGN of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to RECOVER THE REMNANT OF HIS PEOPLE, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ENSIGN for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth," Isaiah 11:9-12.
NOW --- CONSIDER THIS:
Islamic prophecies say that in the last days, the FLAG OF MOHAMMAD will be flown as a SIGNAL to all of ISLAM that it is time for all Muslims to declare war on all Christians and Jews.
ISLAM NOW - NOW - NOW THREATENS to raise the Islamic flag over Jerusalem. I am not so concerned about the flag of Hezbollah being flown over Jerusalem. But I am seriously interested in the possibility that President Recept Tayyip Erdogan of TURKEY has the POWER TO TAKE THE FLAG OF MOHAMMAD from the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul to JERUSALEM HIMSELF!!!
If ERDOGAN takes the FLAG OF MOHAMMED to the TEMPLE MOUNT - you can believe me or not - the Great Tribulation will begin. If Erdogan raises Mohammed's flag in Jerusalem, IT WILL CALL ALL OF ISLAM TO WAR AGAINST JERUSALEM. Jesus warned the Jews in Judea (the West Bank) to FLEE IMMEDIATELY when this event takes place!
JESUS SAID:
"When ye therefore SHALL SEE THE ABOMINATION of desolation [the FLAG OF MOHAMMED???], spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
...For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened," Matthew 24:15-17, 21-22.
MUSLIMS are RIGHT NOW threatening to raise the Muslim flag over Jerusalem. But IF, and WHEN President Erdogan of Turkey (or some other similar leading Islamic leader) comes to Jerusalem (and I am purely speculating) and WALKS INTO THE THIRD TEMPLE WITH THE FLAG OF MOHAMMAD, THAT would easily - and DRAMATICALLY - qualify as the Abomination of Desolation.
I may be wrong, but I may be right. Better read your Bible, pray, and get right with God. Obey Acts 2:38.
