"Christian" gooses laying golden eggs

In pursuit of more golden eggs.

Oneness Apostolic Pentecostals are turning en masse to non-Apostolics for advice and leadership on how to build bigger and better churches. They think they have found the goose that lays golden eggs. They are growing faster than ever, and without all the old constraints of doctrines and holiness. But in their greed, money-lust, and vain pursuit of "MORE!", they have actually killed the goose, and as time goes by, TRUE RICHES - the eternal wealth of right-standing with God, Truth, Righteousness, and Holiness have been forever lost, sacrificed to a highly animated, yet godless imposter of the New Testament Church.

Church in the Kettle

There is another allegory that is also appropriate: The frog in the kettle. Hell has enticed the modern church like a frog into a kettle, and has turned on the heat. But because they have become cold-blooded, as Hell's fires lap around them, they are not even aware of it, adapting perfectly and comfortably to every deadly change, never even sensing that spiritual death is already underway.

"This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart, Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness," Ephesians 4:17-19.

"Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, ...and I am profaned among them," Ezekiel 22:26.

"Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you; (For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth," Deuteronomy 6:14-15.

"And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?" Judges 2:2.
