| The Devil's Perfect Disguise: a "Church" that feeds flesh |
A "church" that feeds the flesh. A "church" that feeds the carnal whims of men. A "church" that encourages worldliness.
It is the Devil's PERFECT DISGUISE.
The Devil is a squatter. EVERYTHING that God wants, the Devil wants it too. Every place that God wants to be, Satan wants to squat there and take it over.
That is the force behind the age-old struggle in the Holy Land, including Jerusalem itself. God called the Holy Land HIS, and even called Jerusalem HIS.
So what did the Devil think about that? HE wants the Holy Land! HE wants Jerusalem! So he SQUATS non-Jews, anti-Jews, anti-God, anti-Bible, anti-Christians all over the Holy Land.
In 70 AD, the Roman Emporer Vespasian sent his son, a powerful military general, Titus, to effectively annihilate Jerusalem. Jerusalem was burned. The houses were ransacked, and mostly destroyed. The Holy Temple sitting on the Temple Mount was methodically and violently dismantled. Every single stone was hauled away or thrown over the wall so that historians would never believe that it had ever existed in its holy place. The DEVIL SQUATTED on Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, and all the Holy Land. In years to come, the MUSLIMS came and build the abominable DOME OF THE ROCK exactly where the Holy Temple had once stood. NOW, the DEVIL has permanently squatted in the place where God said HE wanted to dwell. Have no doubt - Jesus will return someday to TAKE THAT PLACE BACK!
Satan is doing the exact same thing with TRUE CHRISTIANITY. Satan is SUPPLANTING the TRUE, Oneness, Apostolic, Acts 2:38 Pentecostal, Holiness Church with a vile imposter.
Instead of preaching "Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is ONE LORD," it preaches "God is eternally existent in THREE persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost; all co-equal and co-eternal."
LIES have squatted where TRUTH once stood. It is the perfect disguise. A false "church" where the TRUE Church once stood.
People go to "church" every Sunday to hear the Gospel, but instead they hear a perfect heresy. It is the Devil's Perfect Disguise.
The TRUE Church once preached three essential doctrines that lead to everlasting life.
1. Full repentance that leads to holy, consecrated living.
2. Water baptism in the name of Jesus "for the remission of sins."
3. The baptism of the Holy Ghost, evidenced by speaking in other tongues.
But the Devil is a squatter. He has supplanted the TRUE Church with a false "church" that says "accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior." You don't really have to change your ways, because "we are no longer under the law," (although JESUS taught "if you love me KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS; and John said, "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him," 1 John 2:4).
The Devil's PERFECT DISGUISE is a "church" where people never get saved.
They never fully repent and change their lives.
They are never told that they MUST be born of the WATER (baptism in Jesus' name) and SPIRIT (Holy Ghost baptism, speaking in tongues).
The are told that they are saved simply by bowing their heads and saying a 15-second prayer.
It is the Devil's Perfect Disguise.
Millions - yes, millions - even billions - believe they are saved, although they have never in their lives fully obeyed the Bible plan of salvation.
The Devil's PERFECT DISGUISE, the "church" that never tells you the TRUTH, feeds the flesh. It feeds the carnal ambitions of men. It encourages worldly ambition. It urges you to seek for wealth in this world. It urges you to excel at sports. It urges you to love the world. It urges you to follow the latest fads and fashions. It encourages you to be carnal, worldly, sensual, and vain.
The TRUE CHURCH teaches us to DENY THE FLESH. CRUCIFY the flesh. Cast down imaginations and every high thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
The TRUE CHURCH teaches you to be SPIRITUALLY MINDED. To conform to the IMAGE of CHRIST. The image of Christ is "Kingdom-minded." He said, "My kingdom is not of this world."
Jesus did not come to build soup kitchens. He did not come to build orphanages. He did not come to provide disaster relief. He did not come to dig water wells in third-world countries. He did not come to build housing for the poor.
Jesus came to PREACH THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Another world. Another life. Another place. Another time.
The Devil's PERFECT DISGUISE is a "church" that keeps your mind on this world.
The TRUE CHURCH keeps your mind on the world to come.
The DEVIL'S PERFECT DISGUISE is a "church" where you can come every Sunday and sing gorgeous songs to Jesus, then go back into the world all week long and live and act and dress like everybody else in the world.
Don't you think GOD HATES a "church" like that?
Don't you ever doubt it.
And if God hates it, I hate it.
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty," 2 Corinthians 6:14-18.
